Saraswati School Chairman / Chief Co-ordinator

It is an honour and privilege to be the Chief Co-ordinator of Saraswati school, the school that stands for excellence and continuously sets the highest standards, the school that is an alma mater which all alumni look back to with fond memories, the school that has given this country many distinguished personalities and leaders in diverse fields.

The importance of education in the life of an individual cannot be overstated. It shapes individuals in their formative years and imbues them with values that would govern all their choices in life. It is said ‘If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people’. Indeed, one can even say that the quality of education will determine the destiny of the nation.

In the present day, education has become so simple, yet complex, backed by proper guidance and opportunities. However, the difference that is most evident is the technological advancement that has swept across the nation. Students now have hardly known a time without CD's, DVD's, email, social networking sites and internet. Along with these changes the student expectation level has also changed from mere survival to thriving with excellence. Today's generation is blessed as they have the best of everything. Education now is being customized to suit their requirements, using several technological tools that will facilitate a deeper understanding of a child's learning outcomes.

Our expectations are high, not only from our pupils but from our staff as well. Each one must recognize the value of a caring and motivational atmosphere and be aware of the need to work in partnership with parents for the future success of the students as they prepare for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.

Here, each student receives individual and personal attention and the maximum comforts possible. It is our endeavor to make education purposeful, meaningful and enjoyable experience.

The ideas enshrined in this institution are meticulously observed. To be precise, a deep sense of patriotism, loyalty to the motherland, values of all culture and the need for practical ethics in public life are inculcated in them right from their time of joining.

The website may not give all details of every academic activity at the school. This will be only possible if you pay a visit to the school campus.

Saraswati School C.E.O

Dear Parents & Students,

Welcome to the Saraswati School Junagadh, the only best School in Junagadh offering Education with good manners and discipline.

As our society changes and adapts to meet the challenges we face it is vital that we do the very best we can for our young people. They are our future. Developing young people isn't just about giving them a narrow range of examination results, it is about shaping and developing the whole person. Schools have to be about creating the citizens of tomorrow.

Co-operative Values and Principles are ideal for schools. They match a good school's aspirations so well that they could easily have been written specially for education. The fact that they are internationally agreed and regularly used by millions ofCo-operators across the world makes them even more secure for schools.

This year we again have over hundreds of new students who will be experiencing all we have to offer for the very first time – we welcome them and their families to Saraswati School and we will continue to do all we can to make them feel best. We also have many new teachers and new teaching assistants, all of whom have been trained by the authorities, so can provide your children with the very best in international education.

We are very proud of our school, but we must always move forward – and so this year we will:

  • Continue to build a true partnership between school and parents, as this is a cornerstone of effective learning
  • Continue to build an inclusive school, where parents, teachers, non-teaching staff and students share a mutual respect and understanding
  • Continue to develop international mindedness within an Indian environment
  • Continue our path towards becoming a great school through innovation in the classroom and in technology together with great teachers

Most of all, we will live by our Mission:

"We are building a community of responsible and compassionate lifelong learners committed to a sustainable future."

My best wishes – and welcome!
Raghu Khimani,
CEO,
